Answer: Introduction The University of Melbourne or Melbourne University was the first University in Victoria that was established in the year 1855. It is the second oldest University in Australia. Hugh Childers who was the former Auditor-General and Finance Minister founded it. The university is located within a well-known knowledge zone that comprises of eight hospitals as well as several research institutes. At present, the university has become a multi-campus university with more than 36,000 students.
